He's standing!!...

..well, he started crawling last month and then started to stand on his own just a few weeks ago - it's great and so much fun to see his excitement of trying to be just like his big sister.

Date Night...a long time coming...

...finally, a night to ourselves. We've been planning this for a couple of months and the night finally came. It was fun. We went to The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant. Dinner started out will a yummy spinach and artichoke and cheese fondue in which we got to dip fresh veggies and bread - very good. They also gave us apples to dip, but we weren't to hip on it. Then the entree of filet mignon, salmon, shrimp and chicken which we cooked in a savory vegetable broth. But the best part was the dessert. They gave us marshmellows, rice crispy treats, strawberries, bananas, pound cake and cheesecake

to then dip into our "yin and yang"
which was a swirl of white and milk chocolate....can we say YUMMO!! Overall, it was a fun experience, would we go there again?...maybe. As to another date night - a resounding YES!!..it was the perfect therapy for the both of us!!

Don't worry - we're still alive...

... so sorry that I haven't been keeping up with my blog page. The holidays were so busy and crazy that I really needed to recoup and well...I think I'm still recouping. Christmas was great!! We were blessed to have Todd's siblings and their families for Christmas and New Years. The cousins had so much fun playing with each other and us grown ups had a great time catching up with the latest news in each other's lives. We look forward to seeing everyone again - whenever that may be.

Now for another matter. I can't remember the last time I made a New Year's resolution and this year has been no different. So when I read my friend's insightful blog, I realized that I had found my 2008 New Year's resolution. Dave has a knack for "thinking outside the box" and it's quite refreshing and every so often he'll share a part of his more serious side and this is one of them. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I had. Thanks Dave, you've inspired me.
